GALWAY LOCAL AREA EMPLOYMENT SERVICE
The Local Area Employment Service provides a range of services to
support long-term unemployed people into employment, including access
to training and individual supports.
Galway City Partnership are recruiting Employment Guidance Officers to
fill immediate vacancies, and to form a panel, for our Galway City
offices and for a position In our Ballinasloe East/North County Galway
offices.
The ideal candidates will:
* Provide clients with a confidential, individual career path
planning, guidance and counselling service on a caseload basis
* Maintain the caseload management system as provided by the
Department of Social Protection
* Work as an integrated member of the LAES team and the wider Galway
City Partnership team
* As an essential prerequisite you will demonstrate experience
and/or a qualification in the area of adult guidance or working in a
supportive role with clients
* Access to transport and full drivers licence are essential for the
Ballinasloe based role as it includes working in outreach offices
based in North/East County Galway
Positions are available in our Galway City offices and also a position
based in our Ballinasloe office, which includes providing services in
the East and North Galway County area
This is an initial fixed term contract until **Apply on the
